Sadly, many people do not realize that this type of holiday travel insurance even exists! This is a shame because there are a number of people who have had to deal with ruined vacations that could have at least been financially salvaged had there been a decent holiday travel insurance policy taken out prior to embarking on the trip. Hopefully, the awareness level towards this particular type of insurance will be raised in the public consciousness and the financial liabilities that people suffer from vacation mishaps will be eliminated or at least reduced drastically.
